Periant LLC (“Periant,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit https://askperi.ai, use our AI assistant (“Peri”), use our business configuration platform (“Peri Studio”), or access any of our related products, services, or applications (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect the following types of information:
a. Personal Information Information you provide directly to us, such as:

  • Name and contact details (email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Company or organization information (if applicable)
  • Payment or billing information (for subscriptions or related services)
  • Communications and correspondence with us (e.g., email, web forms, or chat)

b. Automatically Collected Information When you interact with our website or Services, we may automatically collect:

Business Customer Materials (Peri Studio) If you are a Business Customer using Peri Studio, you may upload documents, standard operating procedures, training materials, business policies, and other content (“Customer Materials”) used to configure Peri for your organization. We collect and process Customer Materials solely to provide, operate, and improve the Services as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use collected information to:

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Provide personalized experiences, insights, and recommendations
  • Communicate with you about updates, offers, and support
  • Conduct analytics and research to enhance product performance
  • Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve AI models that power the Services, subject to Section 3 below
  • Comply with applicable laws and protect against fraud or misuse

3. AI TRAINING AND DATA USE
Periant uses conversation data, chat transcripts, and interactions with Peri to improve the accuracy, performance, and quality of the Services, including for AI model training and evaluation.

Where data is used for AI model training, it is anonymized and aggregated such that it cannot reasonably be traced back to any individual customer or user.

For Business Customers using Peri Studio: Customer Materials may be used to configure and improve Peri’s responses for your specific business. Where Customer Materials are used for broader AI model training, they are anonymized and aggregated such that they cannot reasonably be traced back to any individual Business Customer.

Periant takes reasonable technical measures to isolate Customer Materials by account. Periant does not use one Business Customer’s identifiable proprietary data in a way that would surface it in another Business Customer’s Peri responses.

4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information only as necessary to operate our business:

  • Service Providers: With third parties who help us operate our platform, such as hosting, analytics, AI infrastructure, payment, or support providers. These parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements.
  • Business Partners: When you interact with pet service providers, insurers, or marketplaces through Peri, we may share relevant data with your consent.
  • Legal Requirements: When required to comply with laws, court orders, or to protect our rights or users.
  • Corporate Transactions: If Periant undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at https://askperi.ai/#contact.

Note that derived learnings incorporated into general AI model improvements may not be individually reversible following a deletion request.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. INTERNATIONAL USERS AND DATA TRANSFERS
Periant operates in the United States, and data collected through our Services is processed and stored there. If you access our Services from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
